
Tec Support Diver Course
Often, recreational divers wonder how they can efficiently assist technical divers in their dives.
This distinctive specialty is designed to give divers the knowledge, skills and techniques to safely support technical divers during their decompression dives while they use trimix, enriched air mixes and O2.
Topics covered include overseeing technical diving activities and providing surface and in-water support, further the understanding of technical equipment configurations, dive profiles and hazards, train recreational divers to carry up to two stage cylinders and exchange these with technical divers while efficiently communicating within a team, and to respond to and handle rescue situations and technical diving emergencies.
