Tec Workshop
Overview
The XTC Tec Workshops are an opportunity for Tec divers that require finetuning or assistance in specific areas of tec diving to work with a Tec Instructor to improve and hone their skills. Your Instructor will discuss with you the areas in which you or they feel that you need improvement in and tailor-make a schedule to address these issues. This is not a certification course.

Prerequisites
To enroll on a PADI Tec Basics course, you must:
Materials Required
There are no specific materials required for the Tec Workshops, however your Instructor may suggest that you purchase the PADI Tec Deep Diver Crew-pak if they feel you require additional theoretical knowledge.

Equipment Required
Depending on your level your Instructor will discuss with you whether you’ll start with your basic scuba equipment and begin to add technical equipment or begin directly with full technical diving set-up. You can dive backmounted or sidemounted (if you already have the training in sidemount configuration). All required equipment is available at a very reasonable price for you to rent for the duration of your course.
What's Involved in the Workshop?
The workshops are designed to be prescriptive in nature and tailored according to the areas of tec diving that you feel you would like to improve in and also the areas that your Instructor feels that you would benefit from improvement in.

How Long Does the Course Take?
Minimum duration: 3 days
Why XTC?
Prices
At XTC we are committed to making safe and competent Tec divers that are able to meet the course performance requirements in a comfortable and repeatable manner. Tec diving has additional inherent risks (when compared to recreational diving) and we want to minimize these additional risks as much as possible. This means is that our training is performance-based, not time-based, so course prices are based on daily rates and your Instructor will discuss with you if additional training days are required.
